Fourth of July

We are very excited to announce our first Open House as part of the July 4th Celebrations with Port Royal, Virginia. Port Royal and Port Conway have a very long history and we are excited that they have asked us to be apart of their annual 4th of July Celebrations!

We will be giving Guided Tours on Wednesday, July 4th from 2pm to 6pm. If you would like to register for one of our Guided Tours, please come to Port Royal and find us in the town square! If you would like advance registrations, please email us at virginiaplantation@gmail.com. Free Admission! Donations appreciated. (all donations will benefit our 18-Century Summer Kitchen, Ice House and Smoke House)

The Historic Port Royal July 4th Celebrations will be a fun filled day of Living History Encampments and Civil War Re-enactors. There will be readings of the Declaration of Independence, Saint Anderw’s Legion Pipes and Drums, 18th Century Dancing, Surrey Rides, Blacksmithing, Woodwrighting, Spinning and Weaving and so much more!

You must see the Patriotic Organ Recital at the Historic St. Peter’s Episcopal Church!
