Join Tea Sommelier, Terri Allmon of Terri’s Teas for the first of two course we will be offering on the basics of tea and tea tasting.

This two-hour workshop will teach you Tea Basics including:

• The different kinds of tea – black, green, oolong, dark, white, yellow, herbal
• A brief history of tea around the world
• Brewing a perfect cup – hot or cold
• Tasting basics, food pairings, and tea etiquette

During the tea workshop, you will be served afternoon tea which includes two flavors of scones, three tea sandwiches, and three petite desserts.

This two-hour workshop will teach you Tea and Tisane Blending including:

• Each person will be given a base tea – black, green, or herbal and will have a
variety of inclusions to flavor or scent their teas.
• We will begin by tasting the base tea first, by itself, and then discussing what the flowers, herbs, spices and flavorings can and can’t do.
• A brief introduction to the medicinal properties of herbs and herbal blends

During the tea workshop, you will be served afternoon tea which includes two flavors of scones, three tea sandwiches, and three petite desserts.

Tickets are non-refundable.

After you purchase your tickets, we will send you a second confirmation email. In this email, we will ask you who you would like to be seated with. Please let us know so we can have you together. If you do not let us know, we cannot move you the day of the event. While we may seat you together with your group, this is a public tea class and others may be sitting with you as well.

We ask children to be at least 5 years or older to attend.

We are sorry, we are not able to accommodate gluten-free, sugar-free or dairy-free dietary restrictions. Because this is a public tea, we do not add any tree nuts or peanuts to our menu.
