Come find resources of strength, courage, endurance, and peace so that we can withstand the pressures of these unprecedented times. This is our 1st Annual Christian Women’s Retreat “Biblical Hospitality – Opening the Doors of Our Hearts and Our Homes” with speaker, Lanita Anderson.

We will open the event with a Friday evening Meet and Greet Fellowship with heavy hors d’oeuvres. Saturday we will meet at Belle Grove for breakfast followed by our Retreat Bible Study with Lanita Anderson. After the Bible Study, we will enjoy an Afternoon Tea overlooking the Rappahannock River followed by a tour of Belle Grove.

Come meet new friends, spend time with old friends and spend the day in fellowship. Our event will take place outside overlooking the river in a tent.

Lanita Anderson

Lanita Anderson is a Pastor’s Wife, a Navy Wife, a Boy Mom, a Mother-in-law, “Nonna” and a native Texan – she was raised in a Christian home and made a profession of faith at age 12 during a revival at her home church. She holds a Business Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas.

In 1991, a handsome young pastor named Kevin Anderson asked for her hand in marriage. In 1992, after serving 3 years as pastor of a small church in Texas, Kevin was commissioned as a Navy Chaplain. He and Lanita ministered to Sailors, Marines and their families for the next 28 years in San Diego, CA, Jacksonville, NC, Portsmouth, VA, Okinawa, Japan, and Chesapeake, VA.
It was while stationed in Okinawa, Japan in the summer of 2000, that Lanita was asked to lead a Bible Study for the ladies of the base chapel, and felt called by God to facilitate Bible studies, help ladies grow in their faith and minister to women of all ages.

While living in Chesapeake, VA, the Anderson’s were members at Great Bridge Baptist Church where they taught Young Adult Couples in Sunday School and where Lanita facilitated Ladies Bible Study on Tuesday mornings for 14 years.
Following Kevin’s retirement from the Navy, he accepted the position of Pastor at Fairfield Mountains Chapel in Lake Lure, NC. Lanita and Kevin make their home in Lake Lure, where Lanita leads the Women’s Ministry Team and facilitates Ladies Bible Study.
Lanita and Kevin have two adult sons – Connor and Collin, a wonderful daughter-in-law, Nikki and a beautiful granddaughter, Everly.
