Faerie Festival
Come experience our weekend of magic, beauty, and enchantment as faeries, trolls, wizards, and humans come together to celebrate the wonders of nature. Enjoy activities, special performers, storytellers, specialty vendors, music, and food trucks at Belle Grove Plantation. This event is family-friendly, and we encourage you to bring along our little “sprites” for a day of creating lifelong memories.
Belle Grove Plantation is a beautiful riverfront property full of wooded areas, open fields, a mansion, and river views. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy a picnic with a view of the river. Enjoy our food trucks, but please no outside food or beverages.
Make your reservations for crafty activities in our Sprites Activities Tent. Grab a ride on our barrel train. Or set down for a lovely Faerie Afternoon Tea inside the mansion. Practice your May Pole dance and join us as we dance around the May Pole each day. Each day we will have a special “Favorite Faerie Contest” and name our “Favorite Faeries” for the Festival.
Faerie Tea
Join us for a very special Faerie Afternoon Tea on Saturday, June 24th, and Sunday, June 25th at 1 pm. Special scones, sandwiches, and petite desserts all dusted with our special faerie dust will delight even the meanest of trolls. Weather permitting, the tea will take place outside on the riverside grounds in the shade of our beautiful trees. In the event that there is inclement weather, the tea will take place inside the mansion.
The Faerie Afternoon Tea is an additional option with your purchase of your Faerie Festival Tickets.
Advance Tickets are are required. Tour of the mansion is not included in the Faerie Tea.
Faeries and Sprites will find wonders galore in our Sprites Activities Tent. Scheduled arts and crafts workshops to create magical projects that will delight all. Create Pixie Potions and Faerie Dust, Magical Wands, Faerie Babies, and Floral Headbands. There is no cost to this Activities Tent, it is part of your Faerie Festival Tent. However, there is limited space so we are asking for you to register your little one’s space in advance. On the day of the event, we will wait until 5 minutes after your reservation time for you to arrive. If you do not arrive by five after, we will fill your space with others that are waiting.
Come enjoy fantastical performers, including storytellers, magical unicorn, musical performers, and the many faeries, trolls, sprites, and wood elves.
See the beauty of nature through the eyes of children. Our special Kids Mystical Art Show is for children 4 years old to 12 Grade to showcase their works of art. This mixed-media art will be on display during the Faerie Festival. Place Ribbons and People Choice Ribbons will be awarded on Sunday, June 25th. Limit four works of art per child, please. Entry fee required. Special Artist Reception on Sunday, June 25th at 5 pm.
Faeries dance and play among the flowers and plants in your garden. Their home is in nature and all things beautiful.
Create a Faerie Garden to be displayed during the Faerie Festival, Saturday June 24th and Sunday June 25th from 12:00 pm-6:00 pm. Reception and Awards Ceremony will be on June 25th at 5:00 pm. Entry fee is just $5.00!
Artists will receive free admission to the Faerie Festival on Sunday June 25th.

Explore the creative gifts and trinkets from our vendors on both Saturday and Sunday.
Enjoy our many food trucks with just the right kind of faerie delights. Bring your lawn chair and blankets and enjoy some great food and beautiful views of the Rappahannock River as you picnic with food from our food vendors. Please no outside foods or beverages.

For our Faerie Afternoon Tea, we are sorry, but we are not able to accommodate sugar-free, dairy-free, or gluten-free dietary restrictions.
We try to seat family and friends together. There may be others at your table as this is a public tea. Please make sure you let us know if there are others in your group. If we are not informed before the event, we will not be able to move you during the event.
For the Faerie Afternoon Tea, we allow children from 5 years or older to enjoy tea with us.
