Belle Grove Plantation’s Antique, Vintage and Collectables Market and Auction
The James Madison Belle Grove Foundation and Gitie’s Auction and Store will be hosting a day of antiques, vintage, and collectables at Belle Grove Plantation. Browse vendor booths filled with small treasures and vintage, and collectibles including art, jewelry, furniture, clothing, memorabilia and much more!
Food Trucks and Beverage Vendors will be on hand! We will also include some direct sales to allow our local businesses to be a part of the market.
During that day, there will be appraisers on hand by appointment to appraise your item! If you are interested in having an item appraised, you will need to submit an Appraisal Request which will include your name, phone number and a photo of the item you would like appraised. Appointment will be set by Gities Auction and Store. All Appraisal Requests must be received by April 15, 2022, to receive an appointment. We are sorry, but there will not be any Walk-In Appraisals on the day of the event. Appraisals will be scheduled from 10am to 11am.

At 11am on the day of the event, Gitie’s will be conducting our first Antiques, Vintage, and Collectables Auction at Belle Grove Plantation. Lots of treasures to bid on! If you are interested in selling your item, you will need to submit an Auction Request which will include your name, phone number and item or items you wish to have auction off. Auction Requests will be submitted to Gities for contract and drop off time. All items must be received at Gities by April 15, 2022, to be considered for the auction. Photos will be taken by Gities for use in cataloging.

Tickets do not include food or beverages. Tickets do not include tours of the mansion. Mansion Tours may be purchased the day of the event at the Belle Grove Plantation Welcome booth.
Gitie’s and Gitie’s Auction is a local, small business specializing in antiques, jewelry, housewares, books and one-of-a-kind items. With two locations, weekly live auctions and a storefront on eBay, you’re sure to find the perfect gift or treasure. Established in 1999, by Gitie Maliks-Renn with a brick-and-mortar store that is the Flagship of Gitie’s and Gitie’s Auction. Over the years, Gitie’s had expanded to include an online store on eBay, the Warehouse and, after becoming a licensed auctioneer in 2012, Gitie’s Auction House.
