Selected from the extensive collection of Belle Grove Plantation photographs taken from 2013 to 2016. The Mansion Postcard Pack represents a variety of views of the historic mansion, both river and carriage views including snow view, nighttime view and spring views.
The Civil War Weekend 2016 Collector’s Edition features Civil War Weekend photographs from 2015. This is a limited edition postcard pack that once sold out will not be reproduced again.

Historic Belle Grove Plantation Postcard Pack – $10 per pack
This beautiful hand drawn note cards were created by local artist John E. Hager in 2015. He has captured Belled Grove Plantation’s 1791 Mansion in all it grandeur.
The Belle Grove Plantation Mansion is print of the original drawing that measures 5 x 7 in size. The pack contains both a very of the Riverside and Carriage side of the historic mansion. The pack is 6 blank note cards with 3 of each view and envelopes are included.

While planning for our 3rd Annual Civil War Weekend, Belle Grove Plantation commissioned Potter’s Fire of Herndon, Virginia to create a three-dimensional relief sculpted artwork for a Civil War souvenir mugs that could be used for coffee, tea, or any other beverage. The resulting mugs were beyond our wildest dream.
The artwork on this handmade mug shows portraits of General Grant and General Lee under Belle Grove Plantation’s distinct portico profile. Potter’s Fire created each cup to represent the tin cups used by soldier’s during the Civil War including the rivet points on the back of each cup and a tin cup color glaze.
These Exclusive Limited Edition Mugs are hand numbered and signed by General Grant (Curt Fields) and General Lee (Thomas Jessee) with the date of their signature. Curt Fields and Thomas Jessee were the Living Historic Performers selected to represent General Grant and General Lee at Appomattox in 2015 for the 150th Appomattox Surrender and appeared at Belle Grove Plantation’s 2016 Civil War Weekend.
Only 18 Signature Cups are available and once gone, there will be no more produced.

While planning for our 3rd Annual Civil War Weekend, Belle Grove Plantation commissioned Virginia Woodworker John Crosson of Fredericksburg, Virginia to create a unique ink pen to represent our 2016 Civil War Weekend.
Created and in scripted with Belle Grove Plantation and Civil War Weekend 2016, these ink pens have representation of two minie balls for the top and bottom of the pens.
Only 10 Limited Edition Civil War Weekend Ink Pens are available and once gone, there will be no more produced.

Two hundred and forty years ago, a small, mulberry tree started its live just 13 years after Belle Grove Plantation was established in 1670 and when James Madison was just 22 years old. Since 1773, the mulberry tree continued to grow and thrive in the shadow of the historic mansion. Reach towering heights and with a base larger than two arm’s length in distance, the mulberry tree stood as a sentinel watching over the families of Belle Grove and witnessing history of both Belle Grove and America.
In 2013, after realizing the mulberry tree was no longer living and being too close to the historic mansion, the decision was made to take it down. Knowing the history, it had witness, the wood was saved and given to a Virginia Woodworker, John Crosson of Fredericksburg, Virginia to transform it into a Colonial cabinet that now graces the library in the mansion.
Now you can own a piece of this historic witness tree when you purchase one of our Witness Wood Ink Pens. Crafted from the witness wood, our Patriot Witness Wood Ink Pen is a lasting memory of the history that is Belle Grove Plantation.
This ball point pen features a bald eagle on the clip like those that live here at the plantation. The neck features the words “God Bless America”.

This print is very popular with our wedding couples using it as a “guest book” as a special way to remember their wedding at Belle Grove Plantation.

This beautiful pencil drawing print was created by local artist Michael Martin in August, 2014. He has captured Emmanuel Episcopal Church as it has looked for over 150 years.
Emmanuel Church was originally part of Belle Grove Plantation and was donated in 1859 by Carolinus Turner. Opened in 1860, Emmanuel survived the Civil War and the Federal Army, badly damaged, but not completely destroyed.
Today, the graves of many of the owners of Belle Grove and their families can be seen in the family cemetery. Emmanuel can be seen at the entry lane of Belle Grove Plantation.
